Two years later than originally planned, a reunion tour by two Canadian rock legends will finally be making a stop in London.
Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings will bring their 'Together Again, Live In Concert tour' to Budweiser Gardens on July 20, 2022. The new date for the much anticipated performance was announced on Monday. The stop in London on the cross-Canada tour was to have taken place in July 2020, but the reunion was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The tour marks the first time in more than a decade the singer-songwriters have shared the stage.
“There is a lot of love and respect for each other," said Bachman. "Working together with Burton again musically is like riding a bike, easy and fun, but with everyone clapping along as we do it.”
Bachman and Cummings are known for hits including These Eyes, American Woman, Glamour Boy, Clap For The Wolfman, Takin’ Care Of Business, and You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet. They are members of the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, Canadian Broadcasters Hall of Fame, and have stars on the Canadian Walk of Fame.
To coincide with the tour, Sony Music has released a limited edition Bachman Cummings box set. It features five Guess Who albums and an expanded booklet of never published publicity, studio, and master tape photographs.
Tickets for the London show range in price from $62.50 to $122.50, plus service charges. They go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. at www.budweisergardens.com.
