A total of 21 people have submitted their names for consideration to fill the vacant Ward 6 seat on London City Council.
The seat became vacant when then-Councillor Phil Squire resigned due to his appointment to the Consent and Capacity board, a provincial panel. Accepting the position left Squire ineligible to sit on municipal council.
The applications will be reviewed and a candidate chosen by city councillors at Monday's meeting of the Strategic Priorities and Policy Committee.
