A single-vehicle crash in Old East Village sent a woman to hospital with serious injuries.
Emergency crews were called to York and Glebe streets, west of Rectory Street around 2 a.m. on Friday after a vehicle hit a building. The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle had to be cut from the wreckage .
Photos posted to social media by the London Fire Department show the vehicle's roof had to be removed in order to free the woman inside.
She was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries, London police said.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
