Hit and run crash sends two adults, 18-month-old baby to hospital

Provincial police in Oxford County are appealing for information after a reported hit and run crash south of Woodstock.
At around 1:50 p.m. Friday, emergency crews were called to a crash at Norwich Road and Oxford Road 13 in Norwich.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Sergeant Ed Sanchuk said one vehicle was struck at the intersection of a four-way stop, and a pick-up truck fled from the area.
“An 18-month old child, a driver and a passenger were taken to hospital,” Sanchuk said. “The passenger was then airlifted to a London area hospital to be treated for injuries.”
The area was closed for over four hours while police investigated the incident.
The OPP continues to search for a grey, lifted pick-up truck that will have sustained significant damage as a result of the crash. The truck was last seen travelling westbound on Norwich Road.
