A child pornography investigation that began in Germany has led to an arrest by London Police.

Investigators with the German Federal Criminal Police Office traced some cryptocurrency transactions made with a child pornography site, and eventually got leads that the suspect was in London.

London Police proceeded with a lengthy investigation and arrested a man on Thursday, while also executing a search warrant at a home on Saddy Avenue in the Argyle area.

Police seized several computers, as well as $1,185 worth of methamphetamine, other drugs, and digital scales.

A 24-year-old London man is facing one charge of unlawfully accessing child pornography, as well as three drug charges.

Another man, who is 28, has been charged with the same three drug offenses but does not face the child pornography  charge.

The two suspects will appear in court on August 24.
