Two charged in $196K drug bust

Two people are facing charges after officers seized a replica firearm, a compound bow, and drugs that police say are worth nearly $200,000.

Officers with the London Police Service Guns and Drugs Unit searched a home on Spenser Crescent on Friday. They seized:

461 grams of fentanyl 21 grams of methamphetamine Eight grams of crack cocaine 960 grams of cannabis Six 4mg Dilaudid tablets 248 8mg Dilaudid tablets 283 100mg morphine capsules 287 50mg morphine capsules 288 20mg morphine capsules 18 grams of caffeine (cutting agent) Seven grams of phenacetin (cutting agent) Replica firearm Compound bow Digital scale $4,075 in cash

A 36-year-old London man is charged with eight counts of possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking, one count of possession of cannabis for the purpose of distributing, and one count of failing to comply with a release order.

Another 36-year-old man from London is charged with one count of possession of a Schedule 1 substance.
