London Police investigating hate-related graffiti in east end park

Police are investigating after a swastika was found painted on a brick wall in Constitution Park.

According the police, the damage was made to a to a building in the park on Trossacks Avenue at Fanshawe Park Road East in northeast London on Saturday. Police said the graffiti consisted of a “hate-related symbol” with a line drawn through it painted on a brick wall.

Relief Media Officer Cst. Derek Wheeler confirmed that the symbol was a swastika.

The investigation is still ongoing and police have not named a suspect.
