Four more London area schools report COVID-19 cases

COVID-19 cases keep going up at public schools in London and the surrounding area.

Late Monday evening, the Thames Valley District School board confirmed five new cases of the virus at four local schools.

In London, A.B. Lucas secondary, which reported two cases, Ashley Oaks and Sir Wilfrid Laurier all confirmed cases of COVID-19. Hickson Central in Hickson also identified a case.

All four schools will remain open.

Close contacts of the affected individuals have been contacted by the school board and advised to stay home and quarantine for 14 days. The Thames Valley says public health officials continue to investigate the cases and will follow up with those as necessary.

A break down of all cases within Thames Valley schools can be found on the school board's website.
