Two people are facing charges after a police search of a Strathroy home turned up a quantity of drugs and various weapons including two replica guns, a spring loaded knife and a set of brass knuckles.
Strathroy-Caradoc police raided the home on Brennan Drive last Wednesday. Officers seized 42 grams of cocaine and a small amount of other unnamed drugs, a replica pistol, a replica revolver, a green brass knuckle/knife combo, a camouflage spring loaded knife, two flick knives, and three digital scales.
One of the residents of the home, a 27-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman, who does not reside at the address, were arrested. They are charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and knowledge of unauthorized possession of weapons.
The 27-year-old is charged with five additional counts of fraud under $5,000 in relation to his local concrete business and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
