Fog advisory ended

A fog advisory issued for parts of southwestern Ontario overnight has come to an end.

Environment Canada issued the alert Thursday evening with fog expected to develop in Sarnia-Lambton and London, as well as Oxford, Elgin, and Middlesex County. While fog was quite thick throughout the overnight hours it has since lifted with Environment Canada ending the advisory just before 5 a.m. Friday.

The weather agency is now calling for sunshine Friday morning before showers begin in the afternoon. The daytime high is forecast to climb to 22 C.
