A fire at a home near Cherry Hill has left two people temporarily unable to go home.
London firefighters were called to the house on Cooper Street near the intersection of Oxford Street and Wharncliffe Road around 5:30 a.m. Monday. Crews arrived to find flames on an exterior wall.
No one was hurt, but as a result of the fire hydro had to be disconnected from the home. That means the two residents will temporarily have to find another place to stay.
Damage is estimated at $50,000.
