Who's a good boy?
A London police dog tracked a suspected vehicle thief to a very smelly location.
A woman reported her van had been stolen from a home on Adelaide Street South on Monday. Officers spotted the vehicle with a man in the driver's seat on Leathorne Avenue north of Adelaide Street around 1 p.m.
As police approached the stolen van, the man got out and ran down an alley. That's when police dog Koda was brought in and tracked the suspect to a nearby dumpster where he was hiding among the trash.
A 20-year-old man was arrested and is charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
We can't make this stuff up...suspect from a stolen motor vehicle flees officers. PSD Koda tracks and locates suspect hiding in garbage dumpster(insert one liners ?)they obviously don't follow us, cause that's been tried before #k9unit #k9ltw #londonpolicek9 #thenoseknows pic.twitter.com/O4bhJBOIPn
