Six additional COVID-19 cases reported in London-area

London-Middlesex saw half a dozen new COVID-19 cases on Saturday.

The local health unit reported six new cases, bringing the regional case count to 845.

One more person recovered from the virus over the past 24 hours. A total of 700 of the total cases are listed at being resolved.

Of the total cases, 32 were in the ICU, 83 were hospitalized but did not require the ICU and 730 were never hospitalized.

There remained four COVID-19 institution outbreaks in the region.

Southwestern Public Health, the health unit covering St. Thomas, Woodstock and Elgin and Oxford counties, reported just one new COVID-19 case on Saturday, bringing the total to 264.

Meanwhile, provincial health officials reported 435 new cases and processed over 43,000 tests.
