A 72-year-old Aylmer man has been charged after he allegedly lured a woman to the side of his vehicle and committed an indecent act.
St. Thomas police said the incident took place in a downtown parking lot on September 20.
Officers said a man in a red Ford Ranger pickup truck asked a woman for directions. When she approached the side of the vehicle, police said she saw that the driver was naked from the waist down and masturbating.
The vehicle and its driver were traced to an address in Aylmer by detectives within the Criminal Investigations Unit.
A 72-year-old man was arrested and taken into police custody on Friday. He was later charged with one count of indecent acts and two counts of failing to comply with a court order. He will appear in court at a later date.
