St. Thomas police are looking for a man who allegedly exposed himself to a woman he had called over to his vehicle under the guise of needing directions.

The woman was walking downtown around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday when a man in a pickup truck in the CASO Station parking lot asked her for directions. As the woman approached the vehicle she realized the man was naked from the waste down and was masturbating, police said.

The woman ran from the truck, which was last seen turning left onto Talbot Street and then right onto Ross Street.

The driver is described as an older, heavy-set man with white unshaven whiskers. He was wearing a grey t-shirt and a dark coloured hat. The vehicle is said to be an early 2000s model, red Ford Ranger pickup truck with matching red Leer topper.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call police at 519-631-1224 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
