One person had to be airlifted to hospital after a three-vehicle crash involving two transport trucks on Highway 401 west of London.
The two tractor trailers and a red pickup truck collided in the eastbound lanes between Currie Road and Iona Road just before 5 p.m. on Friday. The driver of the pickup suffered serious, non-life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to hospital.
The eastbound lanes of the highway were closed for approximately five hours while police investigated and cleaned up debris.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation, police said on Monday.
