London teacher facing new child pornography charges

A London high school teacher who is already facing sexual exploitation and child pornography-related charges has been arrested again for more of the same.

The London Police Service said on Wednesday that Dustin Epp, 45, was arrested on September 4 and charged with one count of unlawfully possessing child pornography and one count of print/publish/possess to publish child pornography.

Police said the new charges were a result of further investigation into allegations that Epp had an inappropriate relationship with a student. He was charged with sexual exploitation in January 2020 in connection with those allegations.

After he was charged, the Thames Valley District School Board said Epp had been suspended from his teaching position at Oakridge Secondary School pending the results of the case.

In March, Epp was also charged with secretly observing/recording a person for a sexual purpose, unlawfully possession of child pornography, printing/publishing/possessing child pornography, unlawfully accessing child pornography, and telecommunication with a person under 18 for specific criminal offences.

Police said on Wednesday that Epp has been released from custody but information about future court appearances has not been provided.

Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent in online anonymously to www.londoncrimestoppers.com.
