Body found near Strathroy identified

A body found in Adelaide-Metcalfe earlier this week has been identified as that of a missing Strathroy man.

Middlesex OPP announced on Thursday that the deceased has been identified as Kurtis Berg, 23. He was reported missing on June 23, having last been seen in downtown Strathroy.

On Tuesday, police were called to a property off Centre Road just south of Highway 402 in relation to a sudden death investigation. A joint investigation involving the OPP and Strathroy-Caradoc police determined that foul play is not suspected.

“No further details will be made public in relation to this investigation,” police said.
