UPDATE: Rollover crash closes part of Highway 402

The eastbound lanes of Highway 402 in Strathroy reopened overnight after a single-vehicle rollover crash closed a section of the highway for several hours.

The Ontario Provincial Police first reported the crash involving a tractor-trailer shortly before 8 p.m. on Monday.

It is unknown how many people were injured in the crash but police said only minor injuries have been reported at this time.

Police closed the eastbound lanes between Kerwood Road and Centre Road for several hours to allow emergency crews to clear the scene. The westbound lanes were also briefly closed when police first responded.

The highway completely reopened to traffic around 1 a.m. on Tuesday.
