A serious crash involving a transport truck on Highway 402 near Mt. Brydges has sent one person to hospital.
Emergency crews were called to the eastbound lanes at Glendon Drive Thursday morning after a transport truck veered off the highway and plowed into the grassy ditch. The tractor trailer came to rest on its side under a row of Evergreen trees.
One person was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Middlesex OPP are investigating the cause of the crash.
The right eastbound lane and eastbound on-ramp of Highway 402 at Glendon Drive was closed while crews worked to remove the truck. The closure remained in place for several hours.
