A man is facing charges after Woodstock police officers seized cash and drugs worth a combined $56,000.
Officers with the Woodstock Police Service responded to a report of a suspicious man at a business on Saturday and arrested two men. The arrests led to a drug trafficking investigation that resulted in charges against one of the men.
A 34-year-old man from Sarnia is charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, possession of a dangerous weapon, and failing to comply with a judicial release.
According to police, officers seized fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cash worth a combined $56,000.
