Five new COVID-19 cases in London-area, zero new deaths

The Middlesex-London Health Unit is reporting five new cases of COVID-19.

As of Sunday afternoon, the total number of cases sits at 443. None of the latest cases are related to long-term care or retirement homes.

To date, there have been 86 cases at area long-term care homes and 50 at local retirement homes.

There were no new deaths related to the virus reported on Sunday, with the total still at 43.

From Saturday to Sunday, the number of recovered cases remained at 292.

Across Canada, the total number of cases is currently at 67,996 with 20,238 in Ontario.
