Police bust naked man breaking into homes

Norfolk County residents were exposed to more than an eyeful after a man broke into two homes sporting nothing but his birthday suit.

The Ontario Provincial Police said that,  during the early morning hours on Tuesday, the naked intruder broke into a home on Concession 13 in Townsend and woke the residents. The homeowners confronted the bare-skinned burglar who then left the house and ran away.

As police responded to a 911 call about the first break-in at around 4:14 a.m., the same nude nightcrawler attempted to break into another home on Highway 24. Officers responded to the second home and arrested a suspect without incident.

As a result, a 35-year-old Norfolk County man has been charged with mischief, break and enter and three counts of trespassing at night.
