Knights double Otters 6-3

The London Knights are celebrating a win against the Otters after beating them 6-3 at Erie Insurance Arena.

In a Sunday afternoon match-up, Erie scored the first goal of the game but Ben Roger managed to put London on the board before the end of the first period.

Goals from Jonathan Gruden, Billy Moskal, and Hunter Skinner in the second allowed the Knights to maintain a 4-2 lead heading into the third period.

Ryan Merkley scored one for the Knights in the third during a power play. The Otters were able to get their third one in net but London's Liam Foudy later scored on an empty net.

Knights goaltender Brett Brochu made 26 saves of 29 shots on net.

The Knights are back on the road for Tuesday's game against the Rangers at Kitchener Memorial Auditorium. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m.
