Express strike down Lightning 107-103

The London Lightning suffered their fourth straight loss with a 107-103 defeat at the hands of the Windsor Express on Friday.

London held a 33-21 lead at the end of the first quarter, but the Express were able to bridge the gap in the second to only trail the Lightning 54-50 heading into halftime. A back-and-forth third quarter saw the Express earn a 79-77 lead over London by the end of the frame, and Windsor was able to hold a narrow lead throughout the fourth to win with a four-point advantage.

Sam Muldrow was the lead scorer for Windsor with 25 points and eight rebounds, while Chris Jones put up 20 points and had seven rebounds.

Xavier Moon led the Lightning with a game-high 35 points and nine assists, while AJ Gaines added another 27 points and 10 rebounds.

The Express are at home again on Sunday to take on the KW Titans at 2 p.m. And the Lightning will look for revenge when they take on the Express again in Windsor on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
