Strathroy police seize $31K worth of cocaine, meth

Three people are facing charges after a raid at a Strathroy home last week turned up more than $31,000 worth of cocaine and methamphetamine.

Strathroy-Caradoc police, with assistance from the OPP crime unit and London police K9 unit, searched a home on Richmond Street last Wednesday. Officers seized 132 grams of methamphetamine, 101 grams of crack cocaine, 83 grams of cocaine, a digital scale, and three cellphones. More than $1,200 in cash was also found.

A 27-year-old man and a 45-year-old man, both from Strathroy, and a 37-year-old woman from London have been charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. An additional charge of trafficking in a Schedule 1 substance was also laid against the 27-year-old man.

The trio is scheduled to appear in London court in relation to the charges on March 27.
