Lightning edged out by St. John's 109-98

The London Lightning are coming off another disappointing loss, after falling 109-98 to the St. John's Edge.

London went into Saturday night's game having just lost to Sudbury 117-116 on Thursday.

The Lightning led the way for the first half of the game, however, St. John's was able to inch ahead slightly in the third quarter to take a 33-21 lead. The Edge maintained that lead in the fourth, earning them the win.

Marcus Capers was the top scorer for London with 29 points and seven rebounds. Garrett Williamson added another 18 points.

The Lightning will be back in action on Family Day Monday to face the Kitchener Waterloo Titans. Tip-off is at 2 p.m.
