Man's disappearance considered suspicious

Provincial police in Oxford County are asking for the public's help as they search for a missing man.

Police are still searching for 41-year-old James Edward Blakley. He was reported missing on September 10. According to police, he was last seen getting into a cab on August 30 at a home on Brownsville Road in South West Oxford Township. Police say the cab was believed to be heading toward the Ingersoll area.

"As circumstances surrounding the male's disappearance are considered suspicious, the investigation is being conducted by members of the Oxford County OPP Major Crime Unit and OPP West Region Criminal Operations," police said in a statement issued Monday.

Blakley is described as a white male, about 6' 2", 200 poiunds, with light reddish-blonde hair. He has a scar on his forehead.
