Police are asking for witnesses to come forward after a collision in Middlesex Centre Friday night that left one person dead.
According to Middlesex County OPP, the single-vehicle collision happened around 7:30 p.m. on Highbury Avenue North at Fourteen Mile Road.
Collision investigators attended the scene and preliminary investigation has revealed the vehicle left the roadway and rolled into a ditch.
A passenger in the vehicle sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the driver and another passenger sustained minor injuries. The roadway was closed for several hours for the police investigation and has since reopened.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of family members.
