In the aftermath of an explosion in Old East Village, residents of London are lining up to help those who have been forced from their homes.
Donations are being collected at several locations, including Libro Credit Union. It has set up a fund to help families that are need after their homes were damaged. The credit union started things off with a $10,000 donations of its own and is accepting donation at all of its branches.
Thanks for all the ❤️. And much thanks to @LibroLondon Credit Union for making it easy to help: You can donate at any #ldnont branch to support our #oevldn neighbours' recovery. Libro has generously contributed an initial $10,000. Please donate & RT & show how we do community! pic.twitter.com/GOVsGCyCbs
