Two charged in sex trafficking investigation

Two people who police accuse of using online ads to lure students into the sex trade are facing charges, and police believe there may be more victims.

London police say 28-year-old Brady Allan DeCoursey (aka Jamie) and 28-year-old Anna-Lee Rose Giroux (aka Carla or Pamela) are charged with:

  • Trafficking in person by recruiting
  • Gaining financial or material benefits by trafficking a person over 18
  • Communicating with anyone for the purpose of obtaining for consideration the sexual services of a person
  • Advertising another person’s sexual service
"A complaint was received by police on July 9, 2019, by a 28-year-old who responded to the ad and then ended up involved in sex work," police said in a statement issued Wednesday. "Police are urging any other victims to contact investigators with the Human Trafficking Unit by calling 519-661-5670."

Decoursey has been remanded in custody, while police anticipated that Giroux would appear for a bail hearing on Wednesday.

Anyone with information in relation to this incident or these individuals is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent in online anonymously to ww.londoncrimestoppers.com
