UPDATE: Investigators searching for possible witness of fatal Cyclist collision

Investigators are searching for a vehicle that was seen in the area of a fatal collision involving a cyclist.

According to London police, around 10:30 p.m. Thursday, emergency crews were called to the intersection of Hamilton Road and East Street. A cyclist had been hit by a vehicle and suffered life-threatening injuries. The cyclist was rushed to hospital, but later pronounced dead.

Investigators now believe that there was a black or dark coloured SUV-style vehicle in the area and want to speak to the driver as a possible witness who may have information pertinent to the investigation.

The investigation is in its early stages and police have not released the name or gender of the cyclist.
