Two arrested, two sought by police after home invasion

Police have arrested two people and are still looking for two others after a woman and her friend were assaulted during a home invasion in London.

The London Police Service said on Friday at around 3:30 a.m., a woman answered a knock at the door of her Hamilton Road home and four people forced their way into the residence. The four intruders, who are known to the victim, were armed with an expandable baton, an axe and what appeared to be handguns.

The woman and a friend were assaulted before the four intruders fled the residence with some of the victims' personal property. One of the two victims had to be treated for unknown injuries and has since been released from hospital.

Candace Robin Bourque, 46, and Terry Junior Philip, 36, both of London, were arrested on Friday in connection with the home invasion. They have both been charged with armed robbery, forcible entry and possession of imitation weapon. Bourque is also charged with uttering threats of death or bodily harm.

Arrest warrants have also been issued for Randolph Edwin Sisson, 44, and Cheyanne Metatawabin, 25, who are both from London, are facing charges of armed robbery, uttering threats of death or bodily harm and forcible entry. Sisson is also charged with two counts of breaching probation, uttering threats of death or bodily harm, assault causing bodily harm, three counts of assault, and possession of an imitation weapon. Metatawabin is also facing two counts of assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon.
