Charges have been laid against two people in connection with a drug bust that spanned four cities and turned up a loaded handgun, cocaine, and $100,000 cash.

Police from London and Hamilton searched two homes on Settlement Trail and Tanner Street in the city, as well as homes in Hamilton, Toronto, and Brampton as part of a joint investigation.

Officers seized 87.5 grams of cocaine, a loaded 9mm handgun, a 9mm handgun magazine, 71 rounds of ammunition, a ballistic vest, several digital weigh scales, drug packaging, a vacuum sealer, and $100,000 cash.
