Michael Moore coming to London

Oscar and Emmy winning documentarian Michael Moore will bring his political commentary to London this fall.

Fanshawe College is presenting an interactive evening with Moore at Budweiser Gardens on September 29.

The night will feature a question and answer period with the audience and excerpts from the American director and author's Broadway show “The Terms of My Surrender,” which centres around Moore’s thoughts on the Trump administration.

Moore is the writer and director of ground-breaking, record-setting documentaries such as Roger & Me, Bowling for Columbine, and Fahrenheit 9/11. Bowling for Columbine earned Moore the Academy Award for best documentary in 2003. His NBC and Fox series, TV Nation landed him an Emmy.

Born in Flint, Michigan, Moore studied journalism at the local university and became the youngest person ever elected to public office in the state when he was 18-years-old. He is also known as an outspoken political activist who tackles major issues with a sharp sense of humour.

Tickets for his London appearance go on sale at 12 p.m. on Friday by phone at 1-866-455-2849, online at www.budweisergardens.com or in person at the Budweiser Garden box office. They range in price from 62.95 to $152.95, plus service charges.
