Severe thunderstorm warning ended for London-Middlesex

Environment Canada ended a severe thunderstorm warning for London-Middlesex at 3:40 on Sunday.

Meteorologists were tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, pea to dime size hail and heavy rain.

Severe thunderstorms with damaging winds were possible Sunday afternoon, as a cold front approaches from the west. Strong winds gusts up to 100 km/h were possible.

The Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management cautions residents to take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.
