Vehicle involved in drive-by shooting found

London police say they have found the vehicle used in a drive-by shooting in the east end, but they are still looking for the shooter.

Police said the white Chevrolet Cruze was found at an address on Bowcott Crescent on Wednesday afternoon. Investigators had been looking for the car since the May 11 shooting at Admiral Drive and Trafalgar Street. According to police, the victim had stopped at the intersection when the Cruze pulled alongside and the driver fired a gun at him. The victim suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries while the shooter sped away, heading west on Trafalgar before going south on Marconi Boulevard and eventually west on Gore Road.

Police have said the victim did not know the shooter.

The search for the shooter is ongoing.
