A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after being hit by a vehicle in London.

The 23-year-old woman was crossing near the intersection of Oxford Street and Wharncliffe Road around 8:55 a.m. Friday when she was struck. Emergency crews rushed to the scene. The woman was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The vehicle involved was driving through the intersection on a green light and stopped immediately after hitting the woman, London police said.
