Storm trample the Knights 5-1

The London Knights dropped a 5-1 decision to the Guelph Storm at the Sleeman Centre on Wednesday.

Alex Formenton scored 13:44 into the first period to give the Knights the lead, however, the Storm were able to tie things up with a goal late in the second. Guelph gained momentum in the final period and scored four unanswered goals to win with a significant lead.

London goaltender Jordan Kooy made 29 saves out of 34 shots on net.

The Knights are on the road again Friday to battle the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. The puck drops at 7:07 p.m.
