Canadians among those dead in Ethiopian plane crash

Ethiopian Airlines is expressing its "profound sorrow and deepest condolences" after one of its Boeing 7-37's crashed, killing all 157 people on board.

The crash happened Sunday around 8:45 a.m. local time, six minutes after the plane took off from Bole International Airport in Ethiopia. It was en route to Nairobi, Kenya.

There were 149 passengers and eight crew members on board, including 18 Canadians. After Kenyans, Canadians accounted for the second most fatalities.
