A 16-year-old Norfolk County boy is facing nearly half a dozen charges after a home was broken into and a Corvette was stolen.

Norfolk OPP were called about the break and enter at a Delhi home on Monday afternoon. Investigators determined that someone broke into the house between Friday and Monday, stealing several items including jewellery and a 2015 white Corvette.

The car was found a short time later by officers who were patrolling the area. A boy was arrested without incident and the items taken from the home were located.

A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named because of his age, is charged with breaking and entering, theft under $5,000, mischief under $5,000, theft of a motor vehicle, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

He is scheduled to appear in Simcoe court in relation to the charges at a later date.
