Lightning strike down the Edge 121-103

The London Lightning extended their win streak to six games following a 121-103 victory over the St. John's Edge on Thursday.

The Lightning surged ahead in the first quarter to take a 20-point advantage by the end of the frame, and they were able to extend their lead to 65-45 heading into halftime. The Edge couldn't keep up to London's momentum in the third and continued to trail by 18 points as the game entered the final quarter. The Lightning kept the points coming in the fourth to win with a 23-point advantage.

Maurice Bolden was the top scorer for London with 25 points and six rebounds. Marvin Phillips added another 16 points and six rebounds, while Kevin Ware Jr. put up 15 points and had five assists.

The Lightning are at home again on March 7 to battle the Halifax Hurricanes at 7 p.m.
