Strathroy-Caradoc police would like to speak to a driver who failed to stop after striking a pedestrian Friday.
Police say it happened around 7 p.m. on Caradoc St. at Henry St. in Strathroy. The pedestrian was walking southbound on Caradoc, on the east sidewalk, and was crossing Henry St. when they were struck in the head by the passenger-side mirror of a pickup truck that was turning onto Caradoc St. from Henry St.
The pedestrian suffered only minor injuries, according to Constable Mark Thuss, but the driver of the vehicle did not stop at the scene as required by law.
The vehicle is described as a white Dodge Ram pickup truck with a crew cab body style.
