Premier to meet with Holder Monday

London's newly-inaugurated mayor is expected to have his first formal meeting with Ontario's premier Monday.

Mayor Ed Holder will head to Queen's Park Monday morning to have a one-on-one meeting with Premier Doug Ford. Holder is one of seven mayors from across the province scheduled to have a half-hour sit-down with Ford.

According to a news release put out Sunday by the Premier's Office, Ford intends to discuss issues pertaining to the Ontario economy and ideas on how to improve services between the province and the respective municipalities. Holder is also expected to outline his priorities for the city of London.

Holder, who took office last week as London's mayor, will have the first meeting of the day with the premier.
