Knights beat Frontenacs to continue winning streak

The London Knights made short work of the Kingston Frontenacs in an 8-1 victory on Friday that brought their winning streak to 15 games.

Connor McMichael scored halfway through the first period to put London on the board, and Liam Foudy added another late in the frame to give them a 2-0 lead. Antonio Stranges, Dalton Duhart, Nathan Dunkley and Adam Boqvist scored back-to-back goals in the second to bring the Knights' advantage to 6-0 as the game entered the final frame.

Josh Nelson scored 9:48 into the third, again adding to London's lead, followed by McMichael who scored his second of the night with less than eight minutes left in the game.  Kingston made it on the board a few seconds later with their sole goal of the game, but the Knights had ensured the win with their massive lead.

Knights goaltender Joseph Raaymakers made 23 saves out of 24 shots on net.

The Knights are in Owen Sound on Saturday to take on the Attack at 7:30 p.m.
