Police investigate bomb threat at school in North Middlesex

Police are investigating after a bomb threat was directed at a high school in North Middlesex.

Ontario Provincial Police officers were called on Thursday after a student showed a staff member at North Middlesex District High School what appeared to be a bomb threat against the school on social media.

While the school day had already finished, the remaining students were asked to leave the school.

The threat has not been substantiated and the OPP Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate.
