Three London men are facing charges after police seized a loaded 9mm gun and nearly $45,000 worth of drugs in the east-end.
Members of the guns and drugs section, which is made up of London police, RCMP and OPP officers, raided a home on Kathleen Ave., just north of Dundas St. on Friday. Officers found 84.6 grams of fentanyl, 84 hydromorphone capsules, 20 oxycodone tablets, and a loaded 9mm P-80 with extended magazine and 31 rounds of ammunition. The drugs are said to be valued at $44,950.
Police also seized approximately $15,000 cash.
A 26-year-old London man is charged with possession of a prohibited/restricted weapon, possession of a dangerous weapon, careless use and storage of a firearm possession of a loaded regulated firearm, and four counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.
A second 26-year-old man and a 25-year-old man, both from London, are charged with possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.
All three men are scheduled to appear in London court on the charges Tuesday.
