Police release poster to generate tips in triple murder

Provincial police are turning to the public for help finding those responsible for a triple murder in Middlesex Centre.

The bodies of Melissa Miller, 37, Alan Porter, 33, and Michael Jamieson, 32, were found in a truck on Bodkin Rd., near Jones Dr. on November 4. Autopsies performed last Tuesday at the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service in Toronto confirmed the deaths to be homicide.

In an effort to generate tips, police released a poster on social media over the weekend featuring pictures of the victims with the words "find our killer" written above. A photo of a grey 2006 Chevrolet Silverado, similar to one that was spotted at the scene the day the bodies were found, is also featured on the poster.

Middlesex OPP have also established a dedicated tip-line at 1-844-677-5050.

All three of the victims are from the Six Nations of the Grand River. Six Nations chief Ava Hill and Six Nations police have requested privacy for the families of the victims.

“We are saddened to hear of the loss of three of our community members. Our thoughts now are with the family members," said Hill in a statement. "We understand that this is an on-going police investigation by the OPP and we encourage them to conduct as thorough an investigation as possible to find the people responsible for this terrible crime. We also ask that the families be granted the privacy that is needed at this time of grief."

Funeral services for Porter, a father of two, and Jamieson, a father of five, were held on Sunday. A funeral for Miller, a mother of five and grandmother of one, is being held on Monday afternoon. Her obituary states she passed away on November 2, two days before the bodies were discovered.
