Suspect sought in Norfolk County robbery

Ontario Provincial Police are trying to identify a man who held up a Norfolk County business.

It happened around 11 p.m. Friday at the Dave's Variety store on James St. in Delhi. Police say a man entered the business brandishing a weapon. The man jumped up on the counter, grabbed the cash register and fled in an unknown direction.

No employees were injured in the incident.

The suspect is described as male, 5' 6" or 5' 7", wearing tan-coloured pants, a black t-shirt with a winged pattern on the back, and a long black shirt that concealed his face. He was also wearing dark-coloured shoes with white soles.

In addition to a screen grab of the suspect from the store's surveillance cameras, police also released an image of a woman who was in the store at the time. Police say she is being sought as a witness and would like to speak with her to see what information she can provide.
