Arrest warrant issued in Clements-Card murder

London police have identified a suspect and obtained an arrest warrant in the murder of Christopher Clements-Card.

The 21-year-old died in hospital shortly after suffering life threatening injuries in a brazen daytime shooting in a Tim Hortons parking lot at 2094 Dundas St. around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police believe it was a targeted attack by three individuals.

On Friday, police announced they have a warrant for the arrest of 18-year-old Zachary McDermott of London. He is charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder by discharging a firearm.

"The firearm used in the shooting has not been recovered," police said in a statement issued Friday. "Anyone who may know the whereabouts of McDermott should not approach him. Please call 911 immediately."

Police are still looking for the other two males who fled the scene of the shooting in a silver four-door sedan which was later found nearby.

One of the males is described as Black, with black hair in cornrows and the other is Caucasian, with a dark complexion, short dark hair, and a full beard.
